THE ANNIVERSARY OF THE DESTRUCTION OF THE 1ST AND 2ND TEMPLE IN JERUSALEM OVER 2000 YEARS AGO

“Over these things I weep” Lamentations 1:17

Join us for an evening of reading and discussion of Lamentations by candle light.

During the day of mourning on the 9th day of the Hebrew month of Av (August 13th & 14th) we do not sit on a raised seat, to minimize our pleasure and to help us relive the difficulty and the loss of the holy temple that stood in Jerusalem.

Come explore and learn about our Temple and home in Jerusalem Read the book of lamentations followed by a film screening of a thought provoking, contemporary film.

And the reading and discussion of lamentations by candle light

What: Reading of the book of lamentation and service talking about the destruction of the 1st and 2nd temple, by candle light. followed by a film screening of a thought provoking, contemporary film.

When:Saturday evening, August 13th
Fast begins 7:54 PM service begins at 8:15 pm Film begins at 9:15 PM
