The (not-so) Secret of Chabad
Find a fellow Jew. Now study his face. His lips. His smile. Does he look like you? No. Until you look into his eyes. Then, no matter what color you see, a Jew will be looking back. You are looking at someone who shares with you 3,000 years of history. You are looking at someone who is a brother, or sister, with unlimited human potential. That’s what we see in every Jew we meet. By inspiring mind heart and soul, we seek to boost self-perception and ignite the awareness of personal and spiritual wealth. So every Jew will become motivated to explore their greatest gifts. Share the inspiration. Help us build a new Chabad Center for Jewish Life that will serve the Ahwatukee, Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa Sun lakes and Tempe area's and fan the flame of Jewish light throughout the entire East Valley and the world.
There is no mystery to our philosophy. For over two centuries, the Chabad Lubavitch movement has translated deeply rooted Jewish concepts into a practical foundation of life. Yet our philosophy remains surprisingly simple: Love every Jew. Educate every Jew. Reach out to help every Jew. We open our arms and our hearts to all, regardless of education or background. Chabad-Lubavitch is the world’s largest Jewish educational outreach programs. Indeed, Chabad pioneered the concept that the Torah must be accessible to men and women at every social, economic and educational level. We’re innovators who believe in people. So we continually seek new ways to interest Jews in Judaism. You won’t find us only talking about concepts; we bring them to life.
That’s a commitment we’ve honored since our Center opened in 1997.
Chabad-Lubavitch is a vibrant, dynamic force in Jewish life, and its programs touch the lives of millions of people with no distinction of denominational group. Reform, Conservative, Reconstuctionist, Orthodox or anything in between. It’s this simple: A Jew is a Jew is a Jew.
